Obama’s cabinet choices…Enemies even closer?
It certainly seems that President-elect Obama’s choices for cabinet positions are in keeping with the old adage “Keep your friends close, your enemies even closer”. Hilary (and therefore Bill) Clinton, Bill Richardson, Robert Gates, Eric Holder. Would it surprise anyone at this point if he offered Dick Cheney or Don Rumsfeld a position? Well, that might raise a few eyebrows, but it appears that the President-elect is charting a dangerous course that could dilute the message of ‘change’ that his campaign promised. Then again, that is assuming that there was indeed a plan for ‘change’ at all. I doubt there was. Or is. No, I think that the President-elect realized very quickly that he was in way over his head and made a calculated choice to trade his freedom for a more neutral, known quantity. As he gets his sea-legs, he will most likely jettison those that he feels are not in step with his vision (once he has one, of course).
So, what can we expect? Well, for the near term, we can expect a return to the Clinton White House. Most of the senior aides and top positions have strong ties to the former President and it’s inevitable that the administration will be colored by those voices. The real interesting task will be after the first 24 months, to see whether as President, Obama will be able to generate his own legacy and unique take on foreign and domestic policy to re-shape those positions. Only time will tell.
Of course, events have a funny way of changing the best laid plans of mice and men. Ask Bill Clinton (Monica Lewinsky), ask George Bush (9/11) and ask Gary Condit (you’ll have to look that one up on your own). Sometimes, things don’t turn out like you have planned them….

I’ve got a real SHOCKER for you… Want to know why Gary Condit has never been brought to justice? He’s actually much more than a mere murderer, he’s a Serial Killer For Hire, and started very, very young. Was trained, in fact, as a pro assassin by former East German STASI types like Erich Mielke & Markus Wolf. But his techniques were from a grand master, himself, Nazi SS Concentration Camp Dr. Ariebert Heim.
How would I know? I was work against these people & other spies in the mid ’70’s and was sworn to secrecy with the biggest thing of all:
The investigation concluded that it was Gary Condit, at age 15, was the “Young man with the rifle (case)” on the grassy knoll in 1963 @ JFK’s assassination.
My boss, Dir. Covert OPS, CIA, told me that it was he, in fact, who’d put that spent round on JFK’s gurney for in that it HAD to be covered up & investigated. (He was just an investigator then, with a business cover).
But since they’d found these guys out & turned them – Except Condit, who was allowed to continue his “Sexual Embarrassment Disposal Service” as it looked like he was trying to infiltrate Congress.
He did.
Now you know why there’s been no one to vote FOR – Just AGAINST.
This is in direct conjunction with Red China’s long-term attack on our economy with slave labor WALMART $, and other military considerations.
But… Now I follow my own orders & declassify the whole thing by my little own self…
